Raymond joined Savills in 1989 and was directly responsible for major sole sales agency projects, providing both marketing and consultancy advice.  Under his leadership and active involvement the Investment Department became a dominant market leader in recent years in Hong Kong with sales amounting to HK$10 Billion in 2009.  Savills also led the field for the major transaction of at least HK$1 Billion, with a 60% market share in local market.

The Investment team works for mortgagees, receivers, and the courts as well as private owners, developers and investors. Property disposal services include Private Treaty Sale, Tender (public or private) and Public Auction. Comprehensive market coverage and dominant market share allow the team to gain detail insight and investment analysis of the market trend.

Since 1999, his experience extends to Macao where he specializes in development studies, whole block valuation and hotel valuation.

In January 2005, he was promoted to Associate Director and assists the Department Head and directors in giving property advice to corporate clients and handing the valuation of prestige properties in Hong Kong, Macao and the PRC.

From April 2006, Franco was promoted as Head of Macao Office and Director of the Valuation and Professional Services, Investment, Project Sales & Leasing Department.

Franco Liu was subsequently promoted as Managing Director since January 2010 and is responsible for the overall business development planning and management of the Macao Office.
